Grace is an accomplished and original artist, using acrylic and other mixed media on canvas to create highly sought after original works.
After spending 4 years in San Francisco studying photography, graphic arts and design she returned to Australia and for the following four years designed for a successful fashion label, gaining a reputation for innovative graphic designs.
Grace then studied once more at the International School of Colour and Design, fine-tuning her skills as an artist and designer and was awarded the Design Excellence Award and the prestigious industry award from Porters Paints for excellence in colour design.
Relying on a sense of design and composition from computer based methods used as a graphic designer; Grace works with colour as the main medium and paints abstract Australian landscapes. Grace's paintings are built up layer by layer, incorporating lots of texture and her versatility in painting and design enables her to achieve subtle variations of colour, and texture that vary with changing viewpoints and light. Keeping in mind the latest interior trends ensures each work will blend seamlessly in a contemporary environment.
