When Jamie Boys found a book on “MIND TRAPS” in a market at Dharmshala (India) in 1998 he decided to return to Australia, move to Melbourne and focus 100% on becoming an artist.

He has since completed a Diploma of Art In Visual Art at RMIT and a Bachelor of Fine Art majoring in Painting at the Victorian College of the Arts. While completing his Bachelor he spent 6 months on a student exchange, studying at the Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design in Vancouver Canada. Since graduating in 2003 he has spent the last few years refining his work and exhibiting around Melbourne and internationally. Jamie is currently studying Graphic Art at Swinburne.

Jamie was selected for the prestigious ‘Off the Wall’ at Art Melbourne 2007 which promotes new cutting edge artists from around the country selected by a panel of leading art experts.
